Data deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with Televora Player, the Android signage app published as package com.televora.player on Google Play and Amazon Appstore, and the Televora platform account and workspace behind it.

Televora Player itself does not create a standalone user account: it pairs a physical screen to a workspace that is managed by a Televora customer. Deletion is therefore requested at the workspace/account level, which removes the player's pairing, cached data and all associated platform data.

Email info@televora.de or use the contact form with the subject "Data deletion request". Include the workspace/tenant name, the account email, and, if only specific screens/devices should be deleted, the screen name or pairing code. We may ask for identity verification before acting on the request.

Deletion requests are confirmed and actioned without undue delay, normally within 30 days.

A completed deletion request permanently removes:

• account credentials (login, password hash, sessions);
• workspace/tenant data: screens, pairing and device records, content, playlists, schedules, overlays, uploaded and generated media, data-source connections and configuration;
• platform interaction, playback and telemetry history tied to the workspace;
• member, role and invite records for the workspace;
• on affected screens, the Televora Player app clears its local cache (pairing token, manifests, schedules and cached media) the next time it checks in, since the server-side pairing no longer resolves.

Some records cannot be deleted immediately because German commercial and tax law requires their retention regardless of an account or workspace deletion request:

• invoices and accounting vouchers: 8 years (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB);
• certain commercial/organisational records: 10 years (§ 257 HGB);
• business correspondence relevant to a contract: generally 6 years (§ 257 HGB);
• records needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, for as long as a claim is possible.

These retained records are limited to what is legally required, are kept separately from active workspace data, and are not used for any other purpose. See the privacy policy for full processing and retention details.
